Here is a description of the book and reader comments:
The Order of the Sirius Temple has planned and executed two successful suicide massacres in Switzerland and a third one is scheduled in France. As plans progress, their best recruiter is murdered at a Bed & Breakfast in a lake resort, bringing to an end, the carefree life of Jewely Bartlett, the owner. Suspected by the police and pursued by the diabolical Elder of The Order, Jewely joins forces with Marcel a former Interpol detective who has a sailboat docked next to hers. When she is abducted by a dangerous killer, Marcel musters all his resources in a desperate attempt to rescue her. What he hasn't counted on is Jewely's own ingenuity and his growing attraction to her.
Full of intrigue, suspense, and just the right amount of romance, Rendez-vous at My Lady’s Manor is a suspenseful murder mystery that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end and challenge you to rethink your own opinions on fairness and survival. Featuring a strong female lead, it’s a breath of fresh air in the genre and is sure to appeal to any fan of women’s fiction.

Comments from readers: (Also see reviews on www.amazon.com)Subject: Bravo! Good job - MM-USAWhat an imagination! There's so much to say about what I think of Phyllis Pritchett, that I 'd probably wind up writing a novel about the novelist of "Rendez-vous at My Lady's Manor". I thoroughly enjoyed reading the story and you made it so easy to read. Would you believe I dared to read it even at night after I discovered it really wasn't scary reading at all!Credits to you overflow - the most important of which (to me) is that you have taken advantage of almost every aspect of your experience as a resident of Switzerland and woven it into a very interesting story. Well done!

We both read your book and were very surprised. It was really exciting! Thank you for your astonishing ideas and for your nice work! I couldn't stop reading and finished it in only three days. Now I have to sleep a bit more! :-)

Boy, did you ever sand bag me! I did not realize that you were related to Robert Ludum!!!!! I did not know that such a great book could be written without profanity and sex on every page. The book is not only fantastic, but one of the best reads I have enjoyed in many years. Your characters are well described; the descriptions of surroundings, smells, area history, etc. are outstanding. And the plot is out of this world. My only comment is that you used French in many locations and … Americans can only speak English. In many books I read that used foreign languages, they usually put the translation just after so people like me can understand what is being said. The way that you wrote the book, French is mandatory and really adds the flavor to such a great book. I would just like to know what you are saying. This is really a great read!! When am I going to read the next book?

Congratulation !!!! That is the first time, that I read a book within three days. Could not put it down. And then it was Lee's turn, same again. Well done, what imagination you have, Jewely has got nothing on you. Should I come and visit you next year, don't put me in the blue room.
I just wanted you to know that I did order the book, and I have read it ! Couldn’t put it down, and when you describe everything about My Lady’s Manor in the book, including the rooms that we stayed in, I felt I was right back in the Manor house. I don’t know where you find the time, but keep on writing ! I will read them all! Enjoy the Christmas Season! Warm Regards.

By anne von buren on November 25, 2014This book is a Christmas "must have"! Intrigue, suspense and romance. It has it all! Once you start reading, you do not want to stop. Although the author is not yet well known in literary circles, she should receive an award for this accomplishment. I am seriously and impatiently waiting for the next book in the mystery series of My Lady's Manor!
By Maude Gaille on November 28, 2014With due respect to Agatha Christie, Rendez-vous at My Lady's Manorwould have won Christie's approval as it will yours. A zest of
American humor, an aura of Swiss- French culture and an intriguing array of characters, Phyllis Pritchett de Martini's mystery should
definitely not be her last.
By William A. Stark on December 1, 2014An exciting book my wife and I could not put it down. We actually stayed at the Manor several years ago and this brought back many wonderful memories. One should stay there in Switzerland for a few days if you ever get a chance. The manor and this book are highly recommended!
